Construction Progress

It was really weird looking at the front of the barn today. The contractors had ripped the metal off the front and are preparing to apply wood and then build the porch. I can’t wait. After the front is finished, the interior will be renovated to accomodate larger crowds. Eddie added steps to the arbor today and finished off the posts on each side of the arbor. It is such a grand entrance to the flagstone walkway that leads to the outdoor chapel.
We will be ready for V.O.W. to meet here in March, the Klein/Henry wedding in April and the Munoz/Ovievo wedding July.

Arbor, Chapel and Walkway

The arbor is almost complete, the stone walkway is going in and, if the weather cooperates, we will be seeing a finished product in about 2 weeks. Yeaaaa!. It is so beautiful. If the ground was not so soggy, Eddie would have been further along by now. Hopefully, it will be ready by the time VOW meets here on March 21 and the class members will be able to enjoy the outdoors in our open air chapel.

Planting Has Started

Massive amounts of shrubs, flowering plants, and trees have been delivered and the ground is being prepared for planting. We are getting so close the the final stages for our wedding venue.

Our First Bridal Show - WOW

We had a wonderful time at the Wedding Extravaganza today. So many brides and so much excitement. We gave away a $2500.00 wedding package to a very deserving bride to be. Congratulations to Melissa Grace Klien, scheduled to wed April, 2010.
Thanks to Rhonda Boyette of Boyette’s Bridal Services, we all had our hair styled and ready for the show. Rhonda gave away a $100.00 Bridal Services package and Sherry Mallory created wonderful Framed Blessings for brides to give as gifts.
